In April 2020, we acquired a building to house The Colonial Performing Arts Center’s SHOWROOM – a smaller, multipurpose venue tailored for emerging artists, local performers and educational programming. Renovations of this building were accomplished with a team comprised of Daniel V. Scully Architects and DEW Construction.

SHOWROOM is located at 20 Commercial Street in Keene, sharing the public parking lot behind the existing theatre’s main stage building. This is a major step in transforming The Colonial Theatre, our 95-year-old live performance and film venue, into Colonial Performing Arts Center, offering expanded opportunities and accessibility to performers, audiences and students.
