Camp Crystal Lake is set to reopen 25 years after the tragic drowning of a young boy named Jason Voorhees. Steve Christy reopens the camp with the help of new counselors, ignoring the warnings of a crazy old man. Everything seems to be going well until a violent rainstorm isolates the lake, and one-by-one the counsellors are horribly murdered by a mysterious stalker. Who will survive the nightmare and live to tell the story and has Jason returned?
