Apple Hill String Quartet

Join the internationally acclaimed Apple Hill String Quartet for an afternoon of chamber music inspired by the natural world. Works by composers Franz Joseph Haydn and Antonin Dvorak feature winged melodies of lark and scarlet tanager, while Meredith Monk’s Cliff Light, Tendrils, and Obsidian Chorale highlight unique textures in nature. As a special bonus, the Quartet is thrilled to showcase an Apple Hill-commissioned world premiere by composer, Miriam Sharrock, a local treasure in the Monadnock community.
