Now celebrating five decades of touring, Tom Rush has been thrilling audiences here and abroad with hits like No Regrets, Circle Game, Remember Song, Urge for Going and Merrimack County. Tom Rush’s impact on the American music scene has been profound. He helped shape the folk revival in the ’60s, the folk-rock movement of the ‘70s, and then the renaissance of the ’80s and ’90s, his music having left its stamp on generations of artists. James Taylor, Emmylou Harris, Tom Petty and Garth Brooks have cited Tom a major influence. His early recordings introduced the world to the work of Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne and James Taylor. Subsequently, his Club 47 concerts brought national attention to emerging artists such as Nanci Griffith and Shawn Colvin.

Hendrik Hertzberg of The New York Times called Dar Williams “One of America’s best singer-songwriters,” and she has spent several decades proving him right. Her career was launched when she re-recorded a track from her first album, You’re Aging Well, with Joan Baez. The legendary folk singer invited Williams to join her on a tour of Europe and the United States and with Baez’ anointing of her as a folk singer worthy of attention, Williams’ career was on its way.

Matt Nakoa has been described as “Jerry Lee Lewis meets Beethoven.” He’s been called “a hot-handed phenom who can go from Chopin to beer-drenched honky-tonk in one set.” Born on a small goat farm in upstate New York, he trained as a concert pianist before accepting a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music as a vocalist. He’s a multi-instrumental composer with powerhouse vocals. He’s Matt Nakoa and he’s a young man with a brilliant future.
