The Colonial Follies – Auditions!

Open auditions for The Colonial Follies – The Colonial’s signature, community-based vaudeville variety show – will be held on Saturday, March 8 and Thursday, March 13. Unusual performers are particularly sought – jugglers, acrobats, animal tricks, dancers, musical saw players, harmonica players, all are welcome (including all ages). Sharpen your performance skills and audition to be a part of the fun. A pianist and equipment for CD accompaniment will be available at the auditions.

Approximately 20 acts will be selected to perform as part of the Follies. The performance will be held on Saturday, June 7, and will feature Luca Paris as Master of Ceremonies, and Jean Nelson as Director. In addition to acts featuring members of our talented community, the show will also employ skits and running gags in true vaudeville tradition – just like the first shows to grace our stage 90 years ago.
