We know that nothing can replace coming together to experience something on stage or on screen, but we also know how art and music can help us in trying times. Enjoy free streaming services from our partners until we can all come together again to see such world class performances at The Colonial.

We also will continue to post a variety of streaming events on our Facebook page. Please follow us: https://www.facebook.com/TheColonial.org/

The Met Nightly Opera Streams

During this extraordinary and difficult time, the Met hopes to brighten the lives of audience members even while their stage is dark. Each day, a different encore presentation from the company’s Live in HD series is being made available for free streaming on the Met website, with each performance available for a period of 23 hours, from 7:30 p.m. EDT until 6:30 p.m. the following day. The schedule will include outstanding complete performances from the past 14 years of cinema transmissions, starring all of opera’s greatest singers.

Alvin Ailey Dance: Ailey All Access

We know you can’t see the Ailey dancers perform in a theater, so we wanted to make sure you can still find comfort and joy in the beauty of dance by virtually connecting with their performances. For a limited time, Ailey is sharing videos of the Company performing on stage. These videos stream on YouTube.

Live Nation: Live from Home

Just because we’re keeping our distance doesn’t mean the music has to stop. Join Live Nation daily for live streams from around the globe — follow artists live from their homes as they share music, stories, and more. These performances stream on a variety of platforms, from YouTube to Instagram.

Streaming Material for Students

The Met Weekly Student Streams

Each week, the Met will be offering one opera specially selected for their young audience members around the globe, along with opportunities to learn more about the production and hear from some of the amazing artists who helped make it happen!
