A Successful Fall Fundraiser

Live entertainment performed by Opera To Go

The Colonial Theatre’s 2018 Fall Fundraiser Gala, “Dynamic Duos and Stellar Solos,” inspired great memories and brought in just over $26,000 in support, all of which will help underwrite the Theatre’s Education and Outreach Program.

Our very own Mary Poppins, Director of Education and Community Egagement Vicky Pittman, and Keene State College Music Lecturer Matthew Leese came to celebrate!

With 102 in attendance, The Colonial was able to reach their fundraising goal, which could not have been done without the love and support of the attendees.

Thanks to our stage crew and all the other countless employees for making the stage look fabulous!

According to Director of Development Eric V. Weisenberger, the night turned out very well. “I was extremely pleased with the collaboration of staff and the community,” said Weisenberger. “The stage looked amazing and I enjoyed seeing new and familiar faces.”

The Colonial is very grateful for all who supported this year’s event and wishes to thank the following:

  • Bergeron Construction Co., event sponsor
  • BarCraft Boot Bars, event sponsor
  • G.A. Perry DDS Keene PLLC, event sponsor
  • G&R Roofing, LLC, event sponsor
  • Quality Care Collision, event sponsor
  • The many local businesses for their donations
  • The Dynamic Duos Event Committee
Not only did the food look great, it tasted even better! Thank you Kristin’s Bistro & Bakery

A huge thank you to Kristin’s Bistro & Bakery for such delightful food. Many thanks also to Wade The Great Entertainment for providing the event with fantastic musical throwbacks, a lively spirit to get the party going and for serving as the event’s Auctioneer. Finally, thank you to Steve Holmes Photography for giving the gift of making moments last forever with his talented photos of the night.

This event was truly a night to remember. Be sure to save the date for next year’s fundraiser on Saturday, November 9, 2019.
